Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Mackenzi Dooley knew from a young age that dentistry was her calling. Watching her brother’s confidence transform after left a lasting impression and inspired her to pursue advanced training in aesthetics and full mouth restoration.
She began her journey at The University of Texas at Austin, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology, before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the UT Health Science Center School of Dentistry in San Antonio. Dr. Dooley graduated with advanced training in functional and cosmetic dental procedures and was asked to join Smile Texas upon graduation in 2020.
Joining Smile Texas in 2020 gave Dr. Dooley the opportunity to focus exclusively on cosmetic dentistry from day one. She quickly excelled in planning, designing, and creating smile makeovers and full mouth reconstructions using porcelain veneers and dental implants.
Just five years later, her dedication and expertise led her to become the owner of Smile Texas, where she continues to lead the practice into its next era of innovation and artistry.
Dr. Dooley quickly became known as the cosmetic dentist for influencers, reality stars, and celebrities, where she tailors each smile to the patient's specific desires to achieve their “dream smile.”
