For Dr. Simon Haws, dentistry is about more than clinical expertise; it’s the perfect fusion of artistry and science.
His journey began while working a summer job at his uncle’s dental office. At the time, he was studying architecture, but he soon discovered that cosmetic dentistry was an even more rewarding way to design and build, using precision and creativity to transform lives one smile at a time.
Dr. Haws earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona, where he graduated with extensive experience in cosmetic and restorative procedures. He completed advanced training in CAD/CAM dentistry, implant placement, Invisalign®, laser dentistry, and CBCT planning, and was honored with the Digital Dentistry Award for proficiency in advanced technologies.
Before joining Smile Texas, Dr. Haws practiced in Central Texas, focusing on cosmetic dentistry, implants, and orthodontics, deepening his passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Haws has been actively involved in service and leadership throughout his career. He volunteered in Veterans Day Clinics, providing free dental care to military veterans, and continues to serve as a youth advisor in his church community. He also spent two years on a mission in Helsinki, Finland, where he became fluent in Finnish while leading and mentoring fellow missionaries. Dr. Haws is a member of the SmileTrend Institute Mastermind, has completed LVI Global training, and continues to refine his expertise in advanced cosmetic techniques.
